This is always a fun part of wedding planning.
Wedding bouquets should be beautiful but not overpowering your gown. For the bride who still wants to throw a bouquet ask their florist for a small bouquet that you can throw. You will want to decide on a florist four months before your wedding. Ask for references and call them. Look at the flowers the florist has on hand and see the arrangements he has on display. Is he willing to work with you to get exactly what you want?
A great way to save money on your flowers is to check the florist department at your local supermarket.We have seen some the most beautiful flowers form supermarkets Decide what kind of flowers you want. Be specific for details on your flowers. Be specific for details on your flowers. You want flowers and the colors to accent your wedding dress and the bridal party's colors. These flowers will be in the photographs, so you want colors that will stand out in the photos. You want to make sure they compliment the day. If you want to be creative with your flowers find a florist who can work with you to create your design. All florist have wonderful books to go through to help you decide what you want. Bring in fabric swabs of the gowns and if you are having a theme for decorations for your wedding have your florist give you some ideas of the flower bouquet and arrangements you can have for your wedding and reception. Make sure the florist will be able to delivery to the flowers and bouquets, if not you will want to ask someone in the wedding party or a family member to handle the flowers. That person should meet with the florist to get any special handling information that may be need for your flowers. Begin searching for a florist at least 3 months in advance of your wedding date. Don't be lazy go check out a couple of shops. |
